PROF. HOM-LAY WANG
Prof. Hom-Lay Wang, DDS, MSD, PhD, is Professor and Director of Graduate Periodontics at the University of Michigan. He has authored one textbook, over 30 book chapters and invited reviews, and more than 500 scientific publications.
Prof. Wang serves on the American Academy of Periodontology’s Scientific Oversight Committee, Annual Meeting Task Force, and Continuing Education Oversight Committee, and is a Board Director for the Academy of Osseointegration.
He is Associate Editor for The International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants and several other journals, and sits on editorial boards including Clinical Advances in Periodontics, Journal of Periodontology, Clinical Oral Implants Research, International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry, Journal of Clinical Periodontology, and Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, among others.
His extensive contributions have earned numerous honors, including the :

- University of Michigan Outstanding Service Award (2001),
- Best Faculty Award (2003), the Charles E. English Award (2004),

Prof. Wang has delivered more than 600 lectures at professional meetings, courses, and universities across the United States and internationally.
