Prof. Jung-Chul Park graduated from Yonsei University Dental College, Seoul, Korea where he studied periodontology. He was awarded a Ph.D. from the same college in 2012 for his studies of the stem cells acquired from inflamed periodontal ligaments. He was awarded an ITI Scholarship and visited the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL, London, UK. He won the André Schroeder Research Prize in 2013 and then returned to Yonsei University as a clinical research assistant professor. He is now a full-time assistant professor at the Department of Periodontology, Dankook University Dental College, Cheonansi, Korea. He is an ITI Fellow and runs the ITI Study Club for Dankook Perio (Korea).
