She completed DMD - Doctor of Dental Medicine from University of the Philippines - College of Dentistry in 1992 and Certificate in Periodontics from University of Pennsylvania, USA in 1995. She was a clinical instructor and lecturer at the Department of Periodontology, School of Dental Medicine at University of Pennsylvania in 1996. She became the Implant Fellow of the Implant Center of the same institution in 1997. She is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Periodontology and Philippine Board of Periodontology. She is an active consultant with 2 prestigious hospitals in the Philippines, namely, Makati Medical Center and St. Lukes Medical Center, Global City. She has lectured and continues to lecture on numerous dental organizations around the Philippines including the Philippine Dental Association from 1997 to present and also made presentations in behalf of the Philippine Delegates at the Asia Pacific Society of Periodontology in Chennai, India in 2005 and in Hong Kong SAR China in 2011.
