DR. TERESA CHANTING SUN



Dr. Teresa Chanting Sun is a specialist in periodontology and implantology at Mackay Memorial Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. She is also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Periodontology at the National Defense School of Dentistry, Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Sun is a Diplomate of both the American and Taiwanese Board of Periodontology. She received her Advanced Education Certificate and Master of Science degree in Periodontology from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, USA.

She was also the recipient of an ITI Scholarship from 2019 to 2020 at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, USA. Dr. Sun has authored many peer-reviewed scientific articles and abstracts related to the topic of periodontal and dental implant-related surgical procedures and digital dentistry. She also lectures as an invited speaker at many international and national conferences. In addition, she is a fellow and founding member of the ITI young international group of the International Team for Implantology (ITI). She has been recognized as a standout clinician and was awarded as the winner of the Europerio9 Periocontest in 2018, the winner of the Osteology Case Award in 2020, and the 2021 ITI Young Speaker Award.
